My name is Mr Ireland, and together with Mrs Vacchani, I am delighted to welcome you to Eagle Class.
Eagle Class is a place where every child is valued, encouraged and inspired to achieve their very best. We cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you, discovering your interests and talents, celebrating your achievements and sharing your successes across the curriculum.
We believe that children who enjoy coming to school each day learn best. That's why you'll always be greeted with a smile and welcomed into a classroom where kindness, laughter and a love of learning are at the heart of everything we do. We want Eagle Class to be a place where you feel happy, confident and ready to challenge yourself.
Our journey begins with applying for Year 6 responsibilities before exploring exciting topics including Natural Disasters, the Second World War, 3D Art and designing and building a Marble Run. You'll also enjoy fantastic opportunities such as Bikeability, our residential visit to Cobnor and our end-of-year production. It's a year full of memorable experiences.
We have high expectations because we believe in every one of you. We will encourage you to be ambitious, resilient and kind, helping you to develop the confidence and independence needed for secondary school and beyond. We want every child to leave Eagle Class believing in themselves and their future.
